Simon Adlem
Architecture, Security & Governance for High-Assurance Systems
About
I work at the intersection of architecture, security and governance, helping organisations bring structure and clarity to complex systems as they scale.
My work is focused on system-level design, risk, resilience and the alignment of technical architecture with operational and regulatory requirements.
What I do
- Enterprise and systems architecture
- Security architecture and information security governance
- ISMS alignment and policy framework design
- Architecture governance and decision structures
- System stabilisation in regulated or high-assurance environments
How I work
I usually work in a flexible, high-autonomy advisory capacity, focused on outcomes rather than fixed delivery structures.
I am most useful where organisations need clear thinking around complex systems, structural risk, resilience, security or governance.
Background
My experience spans healthcare, government, financial services, telecommunications and large-scale internet platforms.
Across these environments I have worked on systems where resilience, security, data integrity and operational clarity are critical.
Current focus
I am co-founder and director of iCoriolis Ltd, where I work as Chief Architecture & Security Officer (CASO).
My current work includes architecture, security and governance consulting for client organisations, alongside product development in the area of assured data exchange for regulated environments.
Technical writing
I also write under the handle hacknix, covering systems, Linux, networking, open source, amateur radio and technical topics.
